Winter Park High School proudly celebrates its 100th anniversary – a century of academic excellence, school pride, leadership, and community traditions. Since opening its doors in 1927, generations of Wildcats have built a legacy that continues to inspire students today. Whether you graduated five years ago or fifty years ago, Winter Park High School will always be your home. We invite you to reconnect with classmates, celebrate cherished memories, and help us honor the people and traditions that have shaped a century of Wildcat excellence while inspiring the next 100 years.

As part of our Centennial Celebration, alumni, families, former faculty and staff, students, and friends are invited to participate in events that celebrate our shared history and strengthen our Wildcat community. Whether you attend an event, volunteer, share memorabilia, become a sponsor, or make a donation, your participation will help make this milestone unforgettable.

FALL COMMUNITY CENTENNIAL EVENTS
Homecoming Parade // October 14, 2026
Parade – 5:00 PM // ROAR Pep Rally – 6:00 PM // PTSA BBQ – 6:00 PM
Join us on Park Avenue and Central Park as we celebrate the Winter Park High School Homecoming Weekend and Community Centennial events kickoff. Homecoming festivities highlight the Wildcat Football Program, the Sound of the Wildcats Marching Band, the Cheerleading & Dance Programs, the Student Government Association, and over 90 other student clubs and organizations. Reconnect with friends, celebrate Wildcat traditions, and enjoy a night of school spirit.

Homecoming Football Game // October 16, 2026
Larry Gergley Stadium at Showalter Field – 7:00 PM
Wildcat Nation, come out and cheer on our football program to victory. Join us for a special edition of Friday night lights and take in the sights and sounds – from the concessions to the WPHS Alma Mater – for our Homecoming festivities.
SPRING COMMUNITY CENTENNIAL EVENTS
A Century of Roars // February 13, 2027
Showalter Field – 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Our signature Centennial Celebration will showcase the remarkable people, traditions, accomplishments, and memories that define Winter Park High School. Guests will enjoy historical exhibits (athletic teams, performing arts clubs, other school organizations and more), interactive displays, time capsules, live entertainment, and opportunities to reconnect while celebrating a century of excellence and looking toward an exciting future.

Please Note: All donations will be managed by the Winter Park High School Foundation and used to support the WPHS Centennial Community Events. Remaining funds after the Centennial Celebration will be used at the discretion of the Winter Park High School Administration to support and celebrate the students, staff and faculty of Winter Park High School.
