SAFE SCHOOL & STUDENT SUPPORT

At Winter Park High School, student safety and well-being are a priority. We provide a range of academic, social-emotional, and health supports to ensure students have access to help when they need it.

School Counselors

Students are assigned to a School Counselor who supports:

  • Academic planning and graduation requirements
  • Personal and social-emotional concerns
  • Referrals to school and community resources

When in doubt, start with your School Counselor.


SAFE Coordinator

The SAFE (Student Assistance and Family Empowerment) Coordinator provides:

  • Crisis intervention
  • Support for students experiencing food insecurity or temporary housing
  • Connections to school and community resources

Behavioral Health Partner: Charlie Health

Charlie Health provides mental health and substance-related treatment for teens and young adults, including during school breaks and holidays.
