  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner services are available through the financial support of the Winter Park Health Foundation and in partnership with Healthcare Providers of Florida. The many medical services provided FREE of charge in our clinic include sports and school physicals as well as diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, health maintenance care for children, including well child examinations, routine developmental screenings and anticipatory guidance regarding common child health concerns.
  • To schedule visits, which are by appointment only, please call 407-622-3200, ext. 6182437. All students must have the Consent for School Based Healthcare Services form completed by a parent or guardian. These forms may be downloaded and printed in both English and Spanish.
  • Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

School Nurse Services

  • Licensed nurses are located on both the main and 9th grade center campuses. They are able to treat injuries and illnesses so students can return to class as soon as possible. Many screenings are also available through the school nurse including vision, hearing and body mass index and referrals to appropriate agencies can be made.
  • Students requiring medication during the school day must have an OCPS Authorization for Medications form on file which has been signed by a parent or guardian. Orange County Public School policy prohibits students from carrying medications on their person, with the exception of asthma inhalers and Epi-Pens. Should a student require inhalers or Epi-Pens, separate OCPS authorization forms are needed and kept on file in the clinic. Forms may be downloaded and printed from this site.
  • Please be sure to complete and return the Emergency Student Information Form which is sent home with students the first week of school. These forms are kept on file in the clinic and many times provide the most updated contact information we have in the event of an emergency at school.
  • The clinic has many brochures, information and resources for parents and students on a variety of health issues including nutrition, alcohol and substance abuse, sexuality, immunizations, mental health issues, tobacco use and physical activity. Please call us if we can be of help regarding your student!
  • Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
