Cherylanne Martin


Cherylanne Martin is a Film and TV producer hailing from Maitland, Florida, with a passion for storytelling and an eye for visual aesthetics. While at Winter Park High School, Cheryl cheered, was the treasurer of the Senior Class, the treasurer of CME and was part of the homecoming court.  After graduating from Winter Park High School in the class of 1977, Cherylanne went on to earn a BS degree in Communications from Florida State University. In her senior year as a communication/marketing major, at the suggestion of her professor, Cherylanne interned at a boutique ad agency in San Francisco, which happened to be producing their first feature film. This is where her career began.

 From there, she has worked her way up to many positions including Assistant Director and, now, Executive Producer. With over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry ,with a specialty in larger scope productions, her credits with the major studios (Netflix, Apple, Warner Bros, Universal, Paramount, Columbia, HBO, DreamWorks, and Fox) include, UNFROSTED, THE MORNING SHOW, WELCOME TO MARWEN, THE WALK, WESTWORLD, FLIGHT, THE PACIFIC (where she won an Emmy), CONSTANTINE, ROAD TO PERDITION, CAST AWAY, WHAT LIES BENEATH, and CONTACT. Cherylanne's work has been recognized with numerous awards and accolades. She is a member of the DGA (Directors Guild of America), the PGA (Producers Guild of America), Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and WPS (Womens Production Society). Cherylanne has also been an SVP (Senior Vice President) of Production for Warner Bros and a Production Executive for George Lucas’s JAKS Production Company.

 In addition to producing, Cherylanne is passionate about mentoring up and coming filmmakers and has opened the door for many. She frequently volunteers her time and expertise to film programs and organizations, helping to cultivate the next generation of creatives. An additional passion is her long time support for One Sky, a foundation created to enrich the lives of orphaned children in China. 

Cherylanne currently resides in Manhattan Beach, CA with her daughter, Kai, who is studying architecture at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
